Location

The Byre is located in the attractive market town of Newport Shropshire. The town has a wide range of amenities, such as independent shops like boutiques, coffee shops and florists. As well as restaurants, pubs, bars and supermarkets, including Waitrose. It is well located for the Lilleshall Golf Club and Lilleshall National Sports Centre, which is around 5 minutes away. There is also a pub just one minute from The Byre called The Wheatsheaf that does food, and offers takeaway pizza numerous nights a week. Newport's town community host many events throughout the year, such as the Newport Carnival, May Fair, Newport Show and the Christmas light switch on. There are many beautiful walking routes in and around the town, such as Newport Canal, Lilleshall Abbey and Lilleshall monument, and The Wrekin.

There are many well regarded schools nearby in both the independent and state sector, including Haberdashers' Adams Grammar School, Newport Girls' High School, The Burton Borough School and Moorfield Primary School, all of these are under 5 minutes away.

There are lovely towns nearby, including Telford around 16 minutes away and the historic market town of Shrewsbury around 40 minutes away. There is also Stafford around 24 minutes away, which has a train station with a direct link to London Euston taking just over an hour. Also, trains to Birmingham New Street in 35 minutes, Birmingham International in 50 minutes and Chester in 42 minutes.

Description

The Byre is a characterful two bedroom barn conversion, situated down a secluded lane in Newport Shropshire and about 1.5 miles from Newport Town.

Through the front entrance is the spacious living room with fantastic exposed beams above. This space is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. There are beautiful high ceilings and a Stovax contemporary wood burner.

Along the hallway is a beautifully renovated bathroom with Indian slate tiling, floor to ceiling. There is a double vanity sink with a built in shelf underneath and a light up mirror with storage inside, as well as a Bluetooth system connected. Opposite is a rainfall walk in shower with built in shelves.

Along the corridor, down two steps, leads to the guest bedroom, this room is very spacious and has a door opening onto the front drive, there are exposed beams in here on the high ceilings, along with skylights.

The next room is the stunning principal bedroom which has a door out to the back garden. This room also has a skylight, offering in plenty of natural light. There is an en suite which has a jacuzzi bath and a separate shower with a vanity sink. A walk in wardrobe with built in shelves and drawers completes the bedroom.

Flowing back through to the living room are French doors leading to the gorgeous kitchen. There is a large central island with space for a dining table. The kitchen has a number of wall and base units, granite worktops and an integrated wine cooler.

The range oven is electric with a gas hob, and there is an integrated dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and ensuite all have underfloor heating.

Outside

The kitchen has one single door, and set of double doors which all lead out to the rear garden. There is a raised patio seating area, which is perfect for entertaining and alfresco dining. Speakers within concealed rocks provide a fabulous sound for partying and entertaining guests. There is a separate plant room which could also be used for storage.

A fabulous built in pizza oven works perfectly in this space, particularly for having guests over. The garden offers privacy and isn't overlooked. There is also a wildflower garden, which offers beautiful colour throughout the spring and summer months. The private driveway has room for ample parking.
