There are numerous tennis courts available and bikes for hire to explore the Salzach Valley. In nearby Zellermoos there are 2 championship golf courses which have breath taking views of the majestic Kitzsteinhorn. There are also numerous day trips which are possible from Zell am See such as Werfen Castle, the ice caves, the Liechtenstein gorge and the infamous Gross Glockner high alpine road. Zell am See is a fantastic family resort with a whole host of restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs. Located on the main train line, Zell am See is well connected to stunning city of Salzburg which is also the nearest airport and is an hour and 15 minutes’ drive away.
