Kilmaronock Manse is close to Loch Lomond and lies within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Some of Britain's most spectacular scenery is to be found around the Loch Lomond area. The Manse sits in around 1 acre of ground.

Gartocharn is a delightful conservation village with its own primary school. Glasgow Airport (20 miles) can be accessed via the A82 and can be reached by car, under normal drive conditions in under 45 minutes. Balloch station (1.5 miles) provides a regular rail service every half hour to central Glasgow, with a journey time of around 45 minutes to Glasgow Queen Street. Glasgow is recognised as one of the finest cities with a thriving central business district. There are a number of acclaimed private schools within the city including Glasgow High School, Glasgow Academy, Kelvinside Academy. Lomond School in Helensburgh (12 miles) provides private schooling for both day pupils and boarders.

For sports enthusiasts the great outdoors awaits. There is superb hill walking and climbing in the area. Loch Lomond is well known for its fishing, marinas and water sports including wind surfing and sailing. There are a number of well respected golf courses in the area including Loch Lomond Golf Course, Buchanan Cast and the Carrick. For sailors venturing beyond Loch Lomond, the west coast is only 11 miles away with the nearest marina facilities at Rhu, just beyond Helensburgh. The ski slopes of Glencoe are around 1.5 hours drive.

Kilmaronock Manse is a wonderful C Listed Georgian manse dating back to 1804. With beautiful stone work under a tiled roof and a lovely symmetrical façade, the manse has a pleasant outlook over fields and the surrounding countryside. The tree-lined gravel driveway leads to the front of the house with a lawned area and parking for several cars. The property has been trading as a successful B&B business with a further three bedroom holiday cottage in the grounds providing valuable income from holiday lets.

The beautifully-presented accommodation begins with double storm doors to the entrance porch with a coat-hanging area. There is a double door to the reception hallway, off which are the main downstairs rooms. To the left of the hallway is the drawing room, a charming and very elegant room with windows to the side and front, with wood burning stove.
