Situated between Woodstock and Chipping Norton, Charlbury is an historic Cotswold market town in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a thriving community, amenities in the town include doctors, dentists, a veterinary surgery, sports hall, primary school, three public houses and a coffee shop.   Excellent for commuters, Charlbury mainline station provides a regular service to London Paddington from 70 mins.

Alternatively, Oxford Parkway service to London Marylebone from 60 mins. The M40 (J9) is about 15 miles away. Charlbury is also well situated for a wide range of both state and independent schools.

Directions

Leave Oxford on the A44 northwards. Proceed through Woodstock and turn left onto the B4022 to Charlbury. On entering Charlbury at the junction known as Fiveways, take the left turn almost back on yourself, onto Fawler Road. Baywell Cottage is found on the right, through wrought iron electric gates.
