Welham is a popular village between the market towns of Retford and Gainsborough. Retford has supermarkets, restaurants and a train station. The historic city of Lincoln is approximately 21.6 miles away, offering a full range of amenities including shops, leisure facilities, the quaintly historic Cathedral Quarter, universities and the County Hospital. The well-respected Minster and St Mary's private schools are also situated in Lincoln. Retford is on the London to Edinburgh Intercity Link and there are good road links via the A1, A15, M180 and M1.
