There is also a study, substantial, fully fitted Smallbone kitchen with mains gas AGA, pantry, utility room and wc.

To the first floor are four bedrooms, including a 'jack and jill' shower room and family bathroom.

There is a suite to the second floor, with a bedroom and ensuite bathroom taking in the impressive countryside views.

The house has a private garden and terrace, with a summer house, hot tub and splash pool.

Attached to the main house, there are a terrace of 250-year-old stone cottages, each exuding character and warmth, perfect for a cozy retreat in the Welsh countryside.

These are set up as ideal holiday accommodation, including a two-bedroom cottage, a one-bedroom cottage and two studios. They all feature gorgeous features including facing stone, wood burning stoves and high-quality fittings.

There is also a shepherds hut in front of the cottages, again with a wood burning stove, taking in the breathtaking views.

The cottages have use of a barn featuring a wood burner, covered barbecue area, lounge, and dining space, ideal for leisurely days and evenings spent together. There is also a locking bike store.

Additionally, there is a modern pod, recently erected providing additional accommodation and income. Please note, there is planning permission for an additional five pods, to further increase income. Water, mains drainage and armour cable are already run to finished gravelled pads.

All letting units have their own bathroom and kitchen facilities.

There are several outbuildings at the property, most notably, the linen room, storage and laundry for the holiday accommodation. An outside wc services these 'working' areas.

To the top field are stables, as there is definite equestrian potential with bridleways accessing upland open countryside.
From the bottom of the drive the old railway line leads to the Merthyr tunnel, which is planned to reopen for walkers and cyclists.
