Rookery Farm is Grade II Listed and believed to date back to 1480 with early 17th century additions. The house is built from timber frame under pitched fish-scale and plain tiled roofs at the front and plain tile and slate roofs to the rear. The house is south facing and has been sympathetically extended to the rear creating a very appealing family home. Directions

From Bury St Edmunds proceed eastbound on the A14 and take the Elmswell turning. After passing Elmswell church continue to the cross roads and turn left and continue north through Elmswell passing over the railway line and continue into Great Ashfield. Take a right turn into School Road, signposted Daisy Green & Village Hall and continue along this road for about a quarter of a mile, pass a right hand turn and Rookery Farm will be seen set back from the road on the left.
