Engar is located in the popular coastal village of Gwbert that overlooks the mouth of the famous River Teifi and out to the stunning Cardigan Bay sea. Patch Beach is only about 0.7 miles away with slipways and the Teifi Boating Club.

The historic shopping town of Cardigan is about 2.5 miles away with the road network providing good access to neighbouring towns in west Wales and further afield. Carmarthen and the A48 M4 link road is about 29 miles taking you onto Swansea (about 61 miles) Cardiff (about 101 miles) the Severn Bridge and into England (about 125 miles).
