Lower Gustard Wood is a sought-after location, with Mid Herts Golf Course and several countryside walks and footpaths on the doorstep. Wheathampstead is just over a mile away with its local shops and restaurants, pubs, cafes and a Tesco Express. For the commuter, Harpenden mainline station provides easy access to London St Pancras International from 26 minutes while St Albans City provides access from 21 minutes and Welwyn Garden City provides access into London Kings Cross from 29 minutes. Road communications are excellent with the M1 facilitating access to the M25. Crossfields House has a wonderful location on a small private road off Lamer Lane, bordered by and enjoying views over neighbouring fields. Although the views are wonderfully rural, the house remains very accessible, being approximately a mile from the centre of Wheathampstead.
