Wychwood enjoys a rural situation and yet is only 5 miles from Woodbridge, a market town on the west bank of the River Deben. Wickham Market and the coast at Aldeburgh are also readily accessible with Ipswich, Suffolk's county town, approximately 7 miles to the south with its regular inter city rail service to London's Liverpool Street station. Travelling north on the A12 turn left outside Woodbridge at the Wyevale Garden Centre on the B1079. Continue north towards Otley and at the junction with the B1078 turn right and Wychwood will be seen on the left.
