A wider range of commercial, retail and leisure services are found at the commercial centres of Chester and Wrexham, linked by the A483 trunk road.

Chester is renowned for its attractive historic architecture and with a burgeoning restaurant and cafe scene, for being a highly desirable place to visit. It is also home to several popular schools, notably King's and Queen's, Chester. There is also a direct rail service to London Euston (from 2 hours).

Wrexham is the economic hub of north east Wales, with good transport links and thriving industrial and business parks.
