Kildonald Cottage enjoys a stunning position with uninterrupted open aspects overlooking the Kilbrannan Sound with views to the Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and to the south east, Davaar Island.

Campbeltown is a thriving, high amenity burgh in Argyll and Bute, located by Campbeltown Loch on the Kintyre peninsula. Other attractions in the town include a newly refurbished cinema and recreation centre (fitness centre, swimming pool, café and library). The town is also well served by many high street and local shops including supermarkets, several garages, a college, schools, a medical centre/hospital and yacht club. It is popular with tourists and also has a variety of hotels and restaurants.

The famous Machrihanish championship links golf course was recently ranked number 22 by Golf Monthly magazine out of the top 120 courses in the UK and Ireland. Campbeltown lies at the east end of the low lying part of Kintyre, the western end is occupied by Machrihanish Airfield, which boasts one of the longest runways in the country with air services to Glasgow International Airport.

Kildonald Cottage is a charming detached stone cottage with additional bothy, known as the Old Byre, with outbuildings adjoined by a stone courtyard. The property occupies a prime position with uninterrupted views across to the Isle of Arran.

The cottage accommodation comprises well-equipped contemporary kitchen with dining area positioned to take advantage of the panoramic views. The spacious living room has charming feature fireplace and floor-to-ceiling patio doors which bathe the room in natural light. The cottage has three double bedrooms, one with en-suite on the ground floor, and a main bathroom located on the first floor. A handy utility room with an expanse of in-built storage complete the main accommodation.

The Old Byre is a stone-built bothy separated from the main cottage by a pretty courtyard, comprised of one-bedroom, main bathroom, and four large storage rooms. The Old Byre could be a fantastic development opportunity for potential income with moderate refurbishment, and in its current configuration offers welcome additional accommodation.

There are three external stores, presently being used as an office, store and tool-shed.
