Location

Thornton Watlass is a particularly pretty village, just north of Masham and south of Bedale on the eastern slopes of the Ure Valley at the entrance to Wensleydale and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The surrounding countryside is some of the finest in the region and the nearby facilities .

It is 11 miles north of Ripon, 4 miles from the A1(M) motorway and 11 miles from the main railway line at Northallerton, which provides a regular service to London Kings Cross.

Planning permission was obtained on the 20th September 2022 for the change of use and related partial reconstruction of several period farm buildings ancillary to Village Farm (Ref:22/01590/MBN).
