Location

Coxwold is a picturesque village set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, benefitting from a range of amenities including a public house, garage, tea rooms, playing fields and tennis club. In addition Newburgh Priory, a historic house with fine gardens is located just outside the village.

Ampleforth College is about five miles away and there is a primary school in Husthwaite and a secondary school in Easingwold.

The nearest market town is Easingwold (about six miles), with a
weekly market and an abundance of shops and several public houses.

There is a high speed train that runs directly from Thirsk (about eight miles) to London and there are regular trains running from York to London. York is about nineteen miles to the south.
