Location

The Grove is set well back off Lady Street near the heart of
Lavenham's Market Place. Lavenham is known as "Suffolk's best preserved medieval village". At the centre is the magnificent
Guildhall of Corpus Christi, a reminder of the town's wealth
during the height of the wool trade. Nearby are buildings of
similar beauty including the grandiose Church of St Peter
and St Paul. This remarkable village has a useful range of

Directions

From Colchester take the A134 to Sudbury. After Newton
Green bear right to Great Waldingfield and on the outskirts of the village turn right adjoining the B1115. Proceed through the village before bearing left on the B1071 to Lavenham. Proceed
through the village and turn right just before the Swan Hotel
and take the first left onto Lady Street and the Grove will be
found a short way up on the right.
