Location

Rosebush Cottage is in a tucked away location siding onto open land. The village sits just above the Chess Valley with its picturesque walks and bridleways. Sarratt Green is a Conservation area and the village is served by a local store/post office, a primary school and the popular pubs of The Cricketers, The Cock and The Boot. Sarratt is approximately three miles from Chorleywood and approximately 4 miles from Rickmansworth. Both offer the Chiltern Turbo to Marylebone and the Metropolitan Line to Baker Street and the City. The M25 can be accessed at Junction 18 with links to the motorway network.

Description

Rosebush Cottage is a wonderful character Victorian cottage in a fantastic position in the village. A truly lovely home with a cosy feel combining rural living with ease of access to the larger villages close by.

The pretty sitting room overlooks the front garden and features an open fireplace and is open to the dining room which sides onto the garden with fine views across open fields. The kitchen/breakfast room is a great place to sit and unwind and is comprehensively fitted with a matching range of wall and floor units and integrated appliances. The breakfast space overlooks the garden and has bi-fold doors out. Off the kitchen is a useful utility room with shower and WC.

On the first floor there is a principal bedroom with an en suite shower room and balcony overlooking the countryside. There are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Rosebush Cottage has a pretty cottage garden and is approached through a wrought iron gate. The garden wraps round to the side where there is a terrace to enjoy the views over the fields beyond.

There is off-street parking for three cars and a garden shed and this is situated across from the cottage over the drive and public footpath.

Directions

From Junction 18 of the M25 proceed on the A404 towards
Chorleywood and Little Chalfont for about a quarter of a mile. Turn right at the traffic lights into Solesbridge Lane and continue for about a mile. At the end of the road bear left onto Sarratt Road and follow the road into the village Take the left fork towards the village shop but just before that head down a driveway and Rosebush Cottage can be found at the end of the drive on the right.
