The main house, designed by renowned architect Diego Vecino and built in 2007, covers 540 m2 (5812 sqf). It features a style reminiscent of traditional Mexican town constructions and ancient Tuscan country houses, using stones. In 2015, architect Rodolfo Asconeguy designed an extension in the same style. The construction is in solid stone and brick, with a tiled roof, stone tile floors, thermal double glass windows, underfloor heating, and air conditioning in 5 of the 6 bedrooms.
The house is divided into four areas:
1)OWNERS' AREA: With a spacious ensuite bedroom, dressing room, and doors opening onto the North and East terraces. It includes an office space with a kitchenette. The bathroom has an outdoor patio. On the second floor, there is an ensuite bedroom with access via an external staircase, currently used as a gym.
2)FAMILY/GUEST AREA: Spread over two floors. The upper floor has a stunning Master Bedroom with beautiful views, dressing room, Jacuzzi, and private terrace. On the lower floor, there is another ensuite bedroom with direct access to the pool. Two more bedrooms, with views to the East, share a bathroom, and the corridor's air conditioning serves both. All bedrooms have closets.
3)SPACIOUS COMMON/LIVING AREA: Connects all areas. Particularly high gabled ceiling with exposed beams, TV area, meeting and entertainment space, and a toilet. Walls covered with field stones. Beautiful fireplace equipped with a hot air distribution system. A "sculpture and awards walk," behind the fireplace, connects the living area with the owners' area.
Sliding door windows connect the living area to both the East terrace and the pool, as well as the West terrace and the barbecue area.
4)SERVICE AREA: Large and well-equipped kitchen with breakfast space and service quarters with a bathroom. Parking for two cars in the shade under a pergola.
SEPARATE SERVICE AREA: About 150 m downhill from the main house is the Service Area, approximately 300 m2 (3229 sqf) with two apartments for staff (60 and 40 m2 / 645 and 430 sqf). The lower level has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living-kitchen-dining room with a wood-burning stove. The upper floor apartment, with independent access, has an ensuite bedroom with air conditioning, as well as a spacious storage area and tools. A large space for machinery and work materials separates the service apartment from the stable area for 10 horses.
In addition, there is a significant small lake that provides water for the animals and serves as a habitat for an incredible variety of birds and fishing. The infinity-edge pool is fed from the well that supplies water to the entire property. There is an emergency power generator, and the house has a reliable internet connection.
The property has pasture areas and extensive native vegetation zones (century-old coronilla, eucalyptus, palm trees). The remains of an old house near the entrance, where various objects have been found, speak of the occupation of this land for certainly more than 100 years.
