Brigsley is a small and highly desirable village on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a village hall and a church while the Hall Farm Hotel & Restaurant, a popular wedding and dining venue, is situated in the neighbouring village.

There are amenities at Waltham including shops, a Post Office and a primary school. Further amenities are available in Louth, 11 miles away and Grimsby, 7 miles away. There are school bus services to Caistor and Louth, both of which have grammar schools or more locally the Toll Bar Academy.

The area is well served for leisure with walking, yachting and a wide choice of golf courses. Cleethorpes is around 7 miles away and has the prestigious Blue Flag status. For commuting further afield the A16, Humberside Airport and the M180 are all within easy reach with excellent road links nearby.
