Set in beautifully preserved countryside, Château de Farcheville is a unique medieval treasure, just 45 minutes from Paris. With its fully restored moat and 250 hectares of surrounding forest and hunting grounds, Château de Farcheville is one of the most extraordinary examples of a lowland chateau. In 1990, film producer Jean Chalopin, who owned the château between 1989 and 2006, embarked on a titanic 14-year restoration project. The renovation work was carried out by the most qualified restoration companies and craftsmen, under the direction of a dedicated and talented architect of historic monuments. The château offers all the facilities and comforts of modern life, without compromising the integrity of its architecture and history: three dining rooms, four kitchens, a 600m² orangery, a 25m swimming pool under a glass roof, a spa, a theater and a 13th-century consecrated chapel. The premises offer 19 double rooms, and a permit for a further 40 rooms is possible but not yet purged. Full-year sales are estimated at €5m-€6m.
