Beechview is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in prime Chiltern countryside, between Henley on Thames and Watlington.

The nearby village of Nettlebed boasts several antique shops, McQueen's deli and café, The Cheese Shed and Creamery, an excellent doctors surgery, the well regarded White Hart Hotel & Restaurant and a village primary school.

More extensive shopping and recreational facilities can be found in the nearby historic riverside towns of Henley-on-Thames and Wallingford, offering a fine variety of shops, public houses, restaurants and Waitrose super markets. The town of Reading also offers further shops and amenities, together with a fast rail service to London, Paddington. The M4 J8/9 is approximately 15miles away, whilst the M40 J6 is approximately 7 miles away, both provide access to Heathrow and the national motorway networks.

Other amenities include nearby access to the Chiltern Cycleway and Huntercombe Golf Club. The larger centres of Reading and Oxford offer more comprehensive amenities and transport links.

From Henley-on-Thames proceed up The Fairmile (A4130) in the direction of Nettlebed / Oxford. At Nettlebed take the right turn signposted to Watlington B481. Continue on this road for 1 mile, on your left at the Park Corner sign you will see a small turning and a few cottages, the property can be found 2nd on the right.
