Gallachan Farm is positioned in a remote setting on the Isle of Bute with beautiful open aspects to the surrounding countryside and Firth of Clyde.

An outstandingly beautiful and historic island, Bute is situated at the heart of the Firth of Clyde, off Scotland's verdant west coast. The island possesses areas of great scenic beauty and has been a popular holiday destination since Victorian times. Due to its proximity to the Gulf Stream, the island enjoys a particularly mild climate and it has become known as the Madeira of Scotland'. The town has a population of approximately 5000 with an extensive range of amenities including primary and secondary schooling, shopping, a hospital, swimming pool, sports centre and golf courses.

Regular ferries (Caledonian MacBrayne) operate from Rothesay to Wemyss Bay (35 mins), with Glasgow city centre and the international airport generally reachable in under an hour from Wemyss Bay. Wemyss Bay has a direct train link to the city centre. A second ferry from Rhubodach, in the north of the island, to Colintraive allows easy access to Argyll and the West Highlands.

Gallachan Farm is a plot of approximately 3.6 acres with planning permission for the erection of Seven dwellinghouses granted early 2023 – Planning reference 22/01197/PP

There are a number of dilapidated outbuildings remaining on site. The shed pictured on site containing hay bales will be removed prior to sale.

The plot has open aspects and expansive views across to Gallachan Bay.
