West Lodge dates from about 1850 and is a picture-perfect stone cottage with painted timber fascias and decorative roof finials. On the ground floor the cottage has a dining room and sitting room (both with fireplaces), a kitchen, boot room, WC and front porch. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and a bathroom. The house has original timber doors, staircase and press cupboards and is ripe for a sympathetic refurbishment.
