Location

Brandon is a small hamlet situated between the towns of Newark, Sleaford and Grantham. There is a café in the village and further amenities can be found in surrounding villages including a church, primary school, village hall, pub, local shop and Post Office in Marston, approximately 3.2 miles to the south. Grantham approximately nine miles, offers more extensive shopping facilities, along with well-regarded grammar schools.

The surrounding area provides a wide range of leisure and recreational opportunities including a selection of golf courses and Rutland Water is approximately 28.6 miles away, which is a major regional draw with sailing, sports and leisure clubs. There is excellent walking locally upon the rolling limestone uplands of South Lincolnshire. Grantham has train services to London in approximately 70 minutes, with additional services from Lincoln (London Kings Cross direct from 120 minutes). Newark is approximately 8.7 miles away, has direct trains to London Kings Cross (from 70 minutes). There's also the direct trainline to York (Newark to York from 45 minutes).
