Corranbuie occupies a lovely setting on the shores of West Loch, surrounded by open countryside approximately 3 miles from Tarbert, a charming fishing village built around East Loch Tarbert, on the western edge of Loch Fyne.    The area is a popular tourist destination, famed for its seafood, and in the summer is host to Scotland's largest sailing regatta - the Scottish Series. There are a number of cafés and restaurants overlooking the harbour, and a supermarket. Tarbert Academy offers local schooling at nursery, primary and secondary level. There is a short 9-hole golf course and two major golf courses at Machrihanish, including the Machrihanish Links – one of the finest links in the country and voted one of the top 50 courses in the UK. For field sports enthusiasts the area offers numerous fishing, stalking and shooting opportunities. Lochgilphead offers a variety of amenities and shops including a sports centre and library as well as further primary and secondary schools. Campbeltown has an extensive range of shops and services including a swimming pool, secondary school and a number of supermarkets. It is famous for whisky; at one time there were 30 distilleries in the town.

Corranbuie is a pretty lochside cottage within close reach of Tarbert, offering spacious accommodation over two floors, sitting in approx. 4.5 acres of land, with a large lawn and woodland.

From the road, a gate from the driveway leads to the side of the property. A path leads to the front of the property and the accommodation begins with the hallway. From here the family room with fireplace and window to the rear is accessed. There is also a porch with a door outside. Off the living room is the ground floor double bedroom. The kitchen has painted floor and wall units while to the left is the dining room with a full wall of windows and glazed door with views towards the loch. The dining room is semi-open plan to the sitting room which has dual aspect windows and a woodburning stove. A bathroom and separate WC complete the ground floor accommodation.

From the living room, stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two further double bedrooms both with views towards the loch.

The garden grounds of Corranbuie are delightful and stretch right down to the lochside. There are lawned and patio areas along with pretty woodland. Several spots are ideal for sitting out and take great advantage of the outstanding views.
