The Rowans occupies a beautiful position surrounded by some of Scotland's finest scenery with open aspects to Loch Lomond. Arrochar is situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The range of mountains in Arrochar have become known as the 'the Arrochar Alps' and include four Munros and six Corbetts, the best known of which is The Cobbler. Arrochar has a petrol station, railway station with direct services to Glasgow, Fort William, and sleeper to London, along with bus services to Glasgow and Oban. Sporting activities in the area include windsurfing, sailing, hillwalking and climbing. Loch Lomond Golf Club, boasts an international membership and has previously hosted the Scottish Open Championship.

Description

The Rowans is an extended bungalow, offering extensive flexible accommodation, over two levels. It is set within generous, landscaped gardens. A gravel driveway leads to the property with plentiful parking for several cars to the front and side.   A short flight of stone steps leads to a double glazed door opening to the reception hallway. The hallway has a wooden floor and gives access to the main ground floor rooms, with staircase to the first floor. The sitting room and the kitchen are at the front of the house with south facing windows looking over the front garden. The sitting room has a feature fireplace with a wood burning stove and has a connecting door to the hallway of the ground floor wing which has two bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room. One of these bedrooms has patio doors to the rear garden. This wing also has independent access. The breakfasting kitchen is fitted with floor and wall mounted units, an Indesit oven and hob with extractor hood, a stainless steel sink and drainer, there is also a fantastic wood burning stove. Behind, is a good sized utility room with an external door leading to the rear and a dining room currently utilised as an office space with patio doors opening to a seating area outside. A three piece family bathroom completes the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms one with an en suite shower room and the master with a suite of two connecting bedrooms, one of which has an en suite shower room.
