It was 1939 when the architect Ettore Rossi, an authoritative representative of rationalism and rigorism, was commissioned by the family of Duce Benito Mussolini to design a private and exclusive villa where one could spend convivial moments immersed in the countryside just a few minutes from Rome.
The position on which to build the property was not chosen by chance: dominant on the highest hill of the Marcigliana Reserve, it boasts a breathtaking 360-degree panorama that ranges from the Terminillo mountains to the Roman castles, from the Tiber valley to the Tolfa mountains and even , on particularly clear days, from the Argentario promontory to the Pontine islands, with the city of Rome and the dome of St. Peter at the center of everything.
