The vibrant village has a popular public house and village hall. Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury are close at hand providing regional shopping, restaurants and hotels with more extensive shopping and facilities are found in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Worcester.

The location has fast access to regional and national communications including the A40, M50 and M5. The glorious countryside of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the Welsh Borders are within easy reach and excellent walks in the Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons are only a short distance away. Superb fishing is also found on the beautiful River Wye.

The two guest barns, 1,608 sq ft and 1,398 sq ft respectively, beautifully complement the farm house, tastefully renovated, they enjoy a host of period features together with an array of natural charm.

The outbuildings are a feature in their own right. A cavernous barn currently used as storage and as a bohemian-style play area, offers vast potential to be developed into an uber-modern dwelling. The acreage, pastureland and formal gardens are an absolute delight. The land has been lovingly attended to and now bears fruit to a wide selection of crops, fruit trees and arable land. Equating to 45 acres, the countryside views are awe-inspiring and stretch to as far as the eye can see.

The 35 acre heritage Perry Pear orchard was planted in 2013 for commercial production consisting of 2800 trees of 10 different traditional varieties, which allows for essential cross pollination and a spread of harvesting time. The trees are already cropping and the yield will exponentially increase over the next 10 years.

Perry pear trees can yield for centuries producing Perry for the Food and Drinks industry. Arguably,there are little more than 30 perry producers in the whole of England and the individual varieties such as Blakeney Red, Hendre Huffcap (Babycham), Gin, Thorn and alike are highly sought after by the industry to produce traditional perry made exclusively from fermented perry pear juice.

Napoleon is said to have dubbed it the 'English champagne'.

The gardens are principally laid to lawn, interspersed with trees, shrubs and plants they enjoy a host of herbaceous beds and pretty flower beds. In addition, there is a beautiful pond, an area of wild garden and a number of exquisite seating areas.
