Excellent Olive Grove in Garzón, prime location on Route 9 and Camino Vecinal, near town and 20 km from the sea in Las Garzas.
The plantation spans 23 hectares, with 5,000 olive trees, including 3,500 Arbequina variety and 1,500 Picual variety. The trees are 14 years old, all in full production, well-maintained, and in excellent health. The central pond provides sufficient water for foliar applications and treatments.
High-Quality Water. The property features three different streams, running year-round. Each stream has its own pond, totaling three in the area. These streams are fed by natural springs on-site and from neighboring properties.
The largest pond measures 50 m x 30 m and is 2 m deep. The second pond measures 60 m x 15 m, with a depth of 1 to 1.5 m. Both ponds contain fish.
Year-Round High-Quality Pasture. Between the two parts of the plantation, there are 5 hectares of improved pasture around the largest pond, the main stream, and natural springs, ensuring green pasture nearly all year round.
Deep, High-Quality Soil. In Eastern Uruguay, soil depth is typically 20 cm above a rocky layer. However, this property boasts 50 cm to 1 meter of light, sandy soil, which retains moisture very well.
