Just off Belluno, in a dominant position over the Piave valley, Villa MIARI CUGNACH is one of the most ancient homes of the noble Miari family, who took their name from the feudal dominion of the Mier hamlet.
The Villa has a simple and linear structure, enriched by coats of arms, friezes and tombstones.

Completely immersed in greenery, it is surrounded by a completely uncontaminated area without any type of building developments.
In the 19th century, it was one of the most interesting places in the Belluno area, and also recognized for the production of wine and other agricultural products.




Accommodation


The grounds measure approx. 20 hectares, and are accessible via a long tree-lined avenue.

The complex includes the main Villa, the caretaker's house, and the stables with an adjoining private courtyard, as well as the 20-hectares park.

Due to its architectural characteristics and proportiones, the villa is considered one of the best creations in the province of Belluno and is further enhanced by exteriors which enhance its majesty and historical importance.

In this regard, it should be noted that a project is being developed for the restoration of these types of cultivations, according to the indications of the Veneto Region.

The prestigious role of the site is also highlighted by the presence of frescoes by a great nineteenth-century master, Ippolito Caffi, in the main hall.

In the real estate complex it is possible to carry out a restoration of the central body of the Villa, to recover the rooms according to the indications of the Superintendency of Venice.

The other buildings, however, require renovation works, permitted by the current urban planning instrument, which provides for the possibility of creating a residential environment with high quality standards.

A hedged avenue leads to the small church – also part of the complex – dedicated to S. Floriano and dating back to the 16th century, which sis situated on top of the hill, where there is also a garden labyrinth, symbol of pilgrimage according to the rites and customs of the time.

It should also be noted that a feasibility analysis was carried out for the construction of a private heliport to optimize every type of connection to the nearby Dolomites and the art cities of the Veneto.
