Eastbury is a pretty village lying in the Lambourn Valley in an Area of Outstanding Beauty and surrounded by rolling farmland with an excellent network of footpaths and bridleways. The village comprises mainly period houses and cottages together with a thriving Gastropub and historic church famous for its engraved window created by Sir Laurence Whistler. Lambourn, just over a mile away, has a range of local amenities, two supermarkets, a post office, butcher, general store and a pharmacy whilst the towns of Newbury, Wantage, Hungerford and Marlborough offer more comprehensive services. There are a number of schools in the area for children of all ages.
