Darsham is a popular and thriving village with a range of amenities, including a petrol station with an attached Budgens store, the popular Two Magpies bakery and café, a railway station and the popular local pub, The Fox. There are fabulous walks within the village and surrounding area. It is only 5 miles to the coast at Dunwich, which itself is found midway between the towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.

The house is well placed for the commuter with easy access to the A12 and a railway station in the village offering regular trains to London via Ipswich from 122 minutes.

There are excellent local schools in both the state and independent sectors, including Yoxford & Peasenhall Primary Academy, Thomas Mills, Framlingham College, Woodbridge School, and Summerhill School.
