This charming LHM mountain house is being built in a pristine location near the Vangslia Ski Center. Surrounded by untouched nature, Vangslia is connected to other ski areas like Ådalen, Sletvold, Hovden, and Stølen, forming one of Norway’s largest alpine resorts. The area also offers excellent hiking routes and well-maintained cross-country ski tracks.

Skiing
Oppdal Ski Centre is a must-visit for skiing enthusiasts. Known as one of Norway’s largest alpine resorts, it offers four distinct mountains, 14 ski lifts, and 35 slopes, ensuring an incredible skiing experience. The interconnected ski trails and lifts allow easy access to all the mountains, making it ideal for skiers of all levels.

Located just 3 km west of Oppdal, Vangslia is the heart of Oppdal Ski Centre. This lively ski hub features a children's lift, ski transportation for young skiers, two chair lifts, a Poma lift, and two T-bar lifts, catering to all abilities. The area boasts excellent sunny weather and two food and beverage outlets, making it the perfect spot to start a thrilling day on the slopes.

Summer Activities
In summer and autumn, Oppdal offers an extensive network of hiking trails, or you can follow the pilgrim path to Trondheim, a route traversed by 45,000 grazing sheep.

Throughout the year, you can embark on an exciting musk ox safari. Capture the majestic creatures on camera, but always follow your guide’s advice to maintain a safe distance from these impressive, animals.

Layout:
The entrance includes generous storage space, with access to an additional storage room. The open-plan kitchen features a large dining area and access to the terrace. The living room, with a fireplace and expansive windows, offers stunning views of Oppdal. Two bedrooms are on this level, along with a bathroom and sauna. The master bedroom has direct access to the terrace.

Upstairs, there’s a large bathroom, storage, two more bedrooms, a living room, and a TV room, filled with natural light from large windows. A glass wall connecting the living room adds to the airy feel.

Kitchen:
Designed by LHM Interiør, the custom kitchen blends style and functionality, with oak laminated fronts, a quartz worktop, soft-close drawers, and premium appliances by Miele and Temptech.

Bathrooms:
Modern and spacious, the bathrooms feature matte natural tiles, high-quality fixtures, overhead showers with rain and handheld options, and provisions for a washing machine and dryer.

Furniture:
All furniture is custom-made by LHM Interior, including wardrobes, nightstands, coffee tables, and bunk beds. Soft furnishings and beds are also included for a seamless, luxurious living experience.

Floors & Stairs:
The bespoke ash stairs, crafted by XTRAPP, are paired with oak parquet floors. The “LHM Exclusum” oak flooring complements the color scheme and enhances the home’s elegant design.

Heating:
Underfloor heating is provided on the first floor and in the second-floor bathrooms. Additional black panel ovens on the second floor, along with remote heating control, ensure a cozy atmosphere throughout.

Fireplace:
The Brunner/Rais fireplace, made from high-quality steel and polished microcement, adds warmth and a stylish focal point to the living area.

Construction Method:
The first floor features half-timbered vertical panels, offering flexibility in room layout, while the second floor retains a traditional loft style with horizontal logs. A turf roof enhances the home’s eco-friendly design and connection to the natural surroundings.
