Dunvegan is situated in the much sought-after East Lothian town of North Berwick, with golf courses, unspoilt beaches, a leisure centre, schools, shops and a harbour within walking distance of the property. North Berwick has its own golf courses including West Links Golf Course and the Glen Golf Course at the other end of the town, while the renowned Muirfield golf club, Renaissance and Archerfield Links are just a few miles away.

North Berwick has become a thriving town with a reputation of having everything you need on the doorstep. The high street boasts a fantastic range of shops including a family run butcher, a delicatessen, independent wine merchant, two supermarkets, cafés, florist and bakery. In the summer it hosts Fringe by the Sea which is part of the Edinburgh Festival, bringing artists and authors to the town. It is also known for its schools which include a primary school and the highly regarded North Berwick High School and there are also private schools both in East Lothian and in Edinburgh.

North Berwick train station offers services into Edinburgh, taking approximately half an hour. There are also regular bus services to Edinburgh and Dunbar.

Westerdunes Park is a secluded small development of detached family homes located in a wonderfully quiet and scenic setting on the western edge of North Berwick, off the prestigious Abbotsford Road. Dunvegan is a fabulous four bedroom detached family house with stunning views towards the Firth of Forth over the golf course, and is approached via a shared private road with its own driveway parking at the front plus a double garage.   The accommodation begins with a welcoming porch with a spacious entrance hallway up a few steps.

The hallway gives access to the kitchen (ahead) and main sitting room to the right. The spacious, dual aspect sitting room has a big picture window framing the beautiful view. There are sliding doors to the balcony as well as a log burning stove.

The kitchen is accessed from both the hallway and dining room (adjacent and linked by the sitting room) and is fitted with a range of base and wall mounted units. Down a few steps is a generous informal dining space and there are sliding doors to a large garden room. This room is a bright space thanks to its south facing aspect over the garden, a large skylight and bank of bi-fold glazed doors to the garden. There is a utility room off the kitchen with a door to the garden. Four bedrooms sit to the east end of the house and are all spacious enough for a double bed.
