The village of Kirton in Lindsey offers a church, Co-op food store and two pubs, with more extensive amenities found approximately eight miles away in the market town of Brigg. Schools include the well-respected Minster and St Mary's private schools in Lincoln (approximately 20 miles), and several schools in Gainsborough (approximately 16 miles) which cater for all ages including the highly regarded Queen Elizabeth's High School.
There is excellent countryside locally for walking, riding and cycling. The historic city of Lincoln offers a full range of amenities and Lincoln train station has a direct train to London (Kings Cross from 120 minutes).
