Oaktree Capital Management co-founder Larry Keele owns the home sits on about 383 acres estate. The roughly 383-acre estate is coming on the market for $65 million. It may shatter the United States’ residential sales record.
Larry Keele, a co-founder of investment manager Oaktree Capital Management, and his wife, Leiyan Keele own the estate. The couple assembled the property over several years and built a custom home with a guest cottage and several barns.
The design was inspired by historic buildings and farms in the area. The main house, spanning about 10,600 square feet, is clad in wood and hand-cut stone. There are five bedrooms, a game room and a theater, multiple hidden doors, including one that connects the living room and basement and another connecting the study and primary suite.
