The village of Sherrington is located in the popular Wylye Valley and nestled in a Conservation Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This part of the village is close to the village pond,, that was once a working watercress farm. There is also a 12th century village church close by.

Codford Village which is nearby has a doctor surgery, Budgens store / fuel and primary school.

Sherrington is set in the gently rolling countryside of the Wylie valley with its many small rural villages with well known and much loved pubs. Sherrington is part of the Cranbourne Chase & West Wiltshire Downs area of outstanding natural beauty and is home to part of the
Great Ridge Wood, an extensive woodland area. The area in general is renowned for its dramatic open countryside and wonderful walking and riding. Easy access to good road links with access to the A36 and A303 within a ten minute drive. The larger village of Codford is within a few miles.
