The village of Collingham lies in a convenient rural setting, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside 6.5 miles north of Newark.

Collingham is a thriving conservation village with many amenities, including a small supermarket, a medical centre and a pharmacy. The village has its own football club, cricket pitch and tennis club. For young children there is a pre-school and primary school and for secondary schools, there are buses to Tuxford Academy and Grantham and Sleaford Grammar schools.

The village has its own railway station, providing services towards London King's Cross, changing at Newark Northgate (from approximately 2 hours). By road, the A1 is less than five miles away, while the A46 provides access towards both Lincoln and Nottingham.
