Location

The White House is situated in the small hamlet of Sisland, a rural community surrounded by gently undulating countryside about eleven miles to the south of Norwich, the Cathedral city and regional centre of East Anglia. Norwich has a thriving business community together with cultural and leisure activities for most tastes, an expanding retail centre and a regular train service to London Liverpool Street. Norwich also has an airport with a great variety of domestic flights and most international destinations available via Schiphol.

The nearby town of Loddon (about two miles) with its many fine Georgian buildings is situated within a Conservation Area and offers an excellent range of facilities including restaurants, bank, public houses, library, chemist and doctor surgeries. Loddon is situated close to the Southern Broads and is the only market town with direct access to the River Chet and the area is especially popular for boating, walking and fishing.

The picturesque Waveney Valley market town of Beccles is about nine miles and has an excellent range of shopping, banking and transport facilities.

There are good schools in the state sector in Loddon and Beccles, and privately Langley School is nearby. Norwich also offers an excellent selection of schools in the state and private sectors.

Believed to date back to the 16th century, The White House is a charming and characterful property in the south Norfolk hamlet of Sisland. Directions

From Norwich proceed south on the A146 and at the Loddon roundabout take the third turning on to Mundham Road. Continue along this road and then take the second right hand turn. The house can be seen set back on the right, and continue along this country lane and The White House is on the left hand side.
