The building dates back to the 18th century, and the apartment retains all its original elements, such as the tiles that line the walls of the rooms, the hallway's wall paintings, the frescoes on the walls and ceilings, and the crafted plasterwork. There are walls covered with painted tiles on the terrace. The apartment is located on the building's first floor and features four facades, views over Largo do Carmo, and a 105m2 terrace. There is a project, approved by the Lisbon City Council, to refurbish the apartment. One of the apartment's highlights is the private stone staircase entrance from Largo do Carmo.
