Location

Greenfield House is situated in the South Downs National Park, almost equidistant between Plumpton and Plumpton Green. Local shopping facilities can be found in Plumpton Green, including a village shop and a pub; local gastropubs include the Jolly Sportsman in East Chiltington and the Half Moon at Plumpton. Lewes (five miles) and the city of Brighton & Hove (ten miles) provide extensive shopping, eating and cultural facilities.

The A23/M23 lies to the west, giving access to Gatwick airport (19 miles), the south coast and the M25.

Description

Completed in 2021, Greenfield House (formerly known as Greenfields) is a contemporary detached house, with part timber clad, part rendered and brick elevations under a tiled roof with a striking swooping porch to one side.

The house has been thoughtfully designed, with accessible entry and the option to configure the ground floor accommodation to create self-contained lateral living space; all principal rooms are arranged on the southern elevation, capturing the views of the surrounding landscape and the Downs.

Internally, the house has neutral décor and clean lines; the open plan kitchen/living room has three sets of sliding doors, and a spacious elevated terrace to the west, giving excellent flow between inside and out.
