Avon Cottage is set in a conservation area within the centre of this thriving and active village. One of the major attractions of the village is the accessibility to other major centres, such as Tewkesbury (3 miles), Pershore (7 miles), Evesham and Cheltenham (both 12 miles) and the M5 (less than 4 miles), as well as good road links to the A46 and A38.   This is a thriving village and together with a Church of England First School, has St Giles Church, village stores, pubs, Doctors' Surgery, bus services, village hall and various groups and activities. Listed Grade II, Avon Cottage dates from 1600 and is full of period charm and original features including a mass of exposed beams, large fireplaces and original doors. The current owners have updated the property including recoating the front elevation thatch and a new ridge in north devon wheat straw in 2017, a new central heating system in 2016, new kitchen and new bathrooms.

The front door opens into a panelled entrance lobby leading to a good sized sitting room with a large open fireplace, triple aspect and exposed beams. An adjoining dining room also has a large fireplace, stairs to the first floor and windows to front and rear.
