The Hamptons, a series of beach towns dotting eastern Long Island, are known to be vacation spots for America’s wealthiest.
The most expensive home for sale in the Hamptons is currently listed at $150 million. That’s 75 times more expensive than the Hamptons’ median asking price of $1,995,000.
Located in Southampton, New York, 1080 Meadow Lane has been on the market for $150 million for the past two years. To put that price point into perspective, the Hamptons’ second-most expensive home for sale on PropGOluxury is listed at $70 million.
The Southampton property previously belonged to Robert Sillerman, who sold the estate for $38 million in 2016.
With 20,000-square-feet of living space on 14 acres, the oceanfront estate was built in 1994 and has 700-feet of direct oceanfront across three separate lots.
The main house stands 12,000-square-feet with 12 bedrooms, 12 full bathrooms, an indoor pool, outdoor pool, pool house, tennis court, tennis house, two golf greens, and golf house.
There are three private walkways to the ocean.
Harald Grant of Harald Grant of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Southampton brokerage office holds the listing.
