Sylvester Stallone Sells La Quinta Desert Retreat
November 18, 2020 - La Quinta
Sylvester Stallone has recently sold off his La Quinta, California, desert retreat for $3.15 million, substantially less than the $4.5 million he paid for it a decade earlier.
Located in the exclusive Madison Club community, Stallone’s 4,889-square-foot home combines both Spanish- and Mediterranean-style details, including marble pillars out front, high beamed ceilings, arched doorways, and dark hardwood floors.
A great room is anchored by an oversize carved-marble-mantel fireplace, with a large antique chandelier hanging above the space.
The formal dining room is similarly lined with French doors that open onto the covered backyard patio.
The master suite, located on the second floor, boasts its own private balcony, fireplace, and marble bathroom.
Out back, there is a covered outdoor kitchen in addition to the aforementioned patio, as well as a fountain-fed swimming pool, spa, and fire pit perfect for entertaining.
