Michelle Williams buys Brooklyn Heights home
February 05, 2020 - Brooklyn
Actress Michelle Williams and her fiancé, theater and film director Tommy Kail, have a new home in Brooklyn.
According to the Wall Street Journal, a trust linked to Mr. Kail paid $10.8 million for a townhouse in Brooklyn Heights.
The deal is one of the most expensive ever recorded in the neighborhood, which is known for its old brownstones and tree-lined streets.
The property includes a townhouse of roughly 3,000 square feet, according to an estimate from PropertyShark, and a parcel of land to the rear of the house.
The house dates back to the 1820s. It wasn’t on the market at the time of the sale.
The record price for a Brooklyn home is currently held by actor Matt Damon, who closed on a $16.7 million penthouse at the Standish at 171 Columbia Heights at the end of 2018.
